Tour Description
Join us on the 2 Kedar Yatra – Kedarnath & Tungnath | PanchKedar Path, a 4 nights / 5 days spiritual and adventure-filled journey from Delhi. This tour covers two important temples of Lord Shiva – Kedarnath and Tungnath, both located in the beautiful Garhwal region of Uttarakhand.
The trip starts from Delhi and goes through Haridwar or Rishikesh, famous for their Ganga ghats and evening aartis. From there, we travel to Guptkashi, a peaceful town surrounded by hills and forests. It is a base for the Kedarnath trek and also has the Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
From Guptkashi, we drive to Gaurikund, which is the starting point of the 16 km trek to Kedarnath Temple. The path is full of natural beauty, with views of rivers, mountains, and forests. Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and is located at an altitude of 3,583 meters. Surrounded by snowy peaks, the temple gives a deep spiritual feeling and is a dream destination for many pilgrims.
After visiting Kedarnath, the journey continues towards Chopta, also known as the “Mini Switzerland of India.” It’s a quiet and scenic hill station covered with forests and meadows. From Chopta, a short 3.5 km trek leads to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world. This area is part of the 2 Kedar Yatra – Kedarnath & Tungnath | PanchKedar Path, making it a must-do for devotees and nature lovers.
Tungnath is not just a spiritual place, but also offers amazing views of the Himalayan ranges. If you’re up for a little more adventure, you can trek further to Chandrashila Peak, which gives a stunning 360-degree view of peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba.
This tour is perfect for those who want a mix of devotion, trekking, and peaceful nature. With transport from Delhi, meals, stays, guide, and all arrangements included, you can enjoy your journey without any worry.
